Content and Format

  • Abstracts must be allocated to a specific category. Please select the category from the list below that best matches the focus of your study. This will be used to organize the abstracts for the purpose of review and presentation. However, the reviewers may assign the abstract to a different category that they feel is more appropriate.

    • Social cognition and behavior
    • Progressive aphasias
    • Neuropathology
    • Genetics
    • CBS, PSP, MND
    • Blood and imaging biomarkers
    • Mechanisms of cell death
    • Disease modulation
    • Treatment (pharmacological/ non-pharmacological)
    • Caregiver

  • The abstract text must not contain more than 1800 characters without spaces (~ 300 words) and should be a single paragraph without section headings.
  • No tables or images are allowed in the abstract.
  • If references are essential, they should be within the text using the format: (Murphy et al. BJU Int 2005; 95 27-30).
  • Required authors’ details:

    • first and presenting author: full first and family name, full postal address, email address
    • Co-authors: full first and family name, affiliation details (institution/city/country)

  • It is recommended that the submitting author is also the presenting author.
  • Types of presentations: most accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. However, a small number will be selected by the reviewers for oral presentation or Data Blitz presentation  (2 min talk plus poster) during the Scientific Sessions. Please indicate at the time of submission if you are willing to have your abstract considered for oral presentation or Data Blitz presentation.
