Late-Breaking Abstracts for Hot Topic Session Talks

Late-breaking abstracts will be considered for oral presentation in the Hot topic session at the ICFTD2016.

Late-breaking abstract online submission was open from 17 June until 15 July 2016, 23:55 (GMT).

Please note that this is not an extension of the general abstract submission deadline. Submitted abstracts that fail to meet the below mentioned criteria for late-breaking abstracts will be rejected.

Rules and Regulations for late-breaking abstracts

  • A late-breaking abstract needs to contain novel groundbreaking and/or practice changing data that were not yet known, or fully available, at the regular abstract submission deadline. Examples of suitable abstracts might include novel disease genes, proteins and biomarkers, new FTD pathomechanisms with therapeutic implications, and early clinical trials with novel proof-of principle data.
  • The data in the abstract must not be published (manuscript or abstract) prior to the ICFTD2016.
  • Late-breaking abstracts will be evaluated by the Local Organizing Committee and the Scientific Program Committee and are considered for oral presentation at the Hot Topic session.
  • Notification regarding late-breaking abstract’s status (accepted or rejected) will be sent to the submitting author by the end of July 2016.

Embargo Policy
Late-breaking abstracts submitted to the ICFTD2016 will be made available to the public on the ICFTD2016 website on the day of presentation.
